Privacy policy
This policy explains what data is involved when you play Parking Lot Escape at parkinglotescape.com, as the site works today. It is written in plain language and will be updated before any new data practice (such as ads) starts.
No account, no sign-up
You don't create an account or give us your name or email to play. We don't run our own server-side database of players.
Data stored on your device
Your game progress is kept in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie) under the key yard-escape-v1. It contains:
- cleared bays, stars and best move counts;
- coin balance and which Garage cosmetics you own and have equipped;
- your sound on/off setting;
- the date you last claimed the daily bonus, and bookkeeping for future optional rewarded ads (currently unused).
This data stays in your browser and is not sent to us by the game. The game itself sets no cookies. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings (this resets your progress).
Hosting, logs and telemetry
The site is hosted by Lovable and its infrastructure providers. Like most websites, when your browser loads pages, they may automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps and referring URL in access logs, and may collect basic usage analytics and error reports (for example, when a page fails to load) to operate, secure and improve the service. This processing is governed by the hosting provider's own privacy policy.
Google Fonts
The game's typefaces (Barlow and Russo One) are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser therefore connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser information. See Google's privacy policy for how Google handles this.
Ads and payments: currently off
There are no advertising, payment, or third-party tracking scripts running on the site today. The Shop shows planned items as “Coming soon” and cannot take payment.
If ads are introduced later (for example Google AdSense or Google Ad Manager), those services may use cookies or similar identifiers, including for personalised ads. Before that happens we will update this policy and, where required (such as in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), show a certified consent tool so you can choose. If optional purchases are added, payments would be handled by a payment provider under its own policy.
Children
Parking Lot Escape is a general-audience puzzle game. It does not ask for personal information. Parents or guardians with questions can email the address in the contact section below.
Your choices and rights
- Delete local data: clear site data for parkinglotescape.com in your browser.
- Limit font requests: browser privacy extensions can block third-party font loading; the game still works with fallback fonts.
- Requests: depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to processing. Because the game keeps progress only on your device, we generally hold no player data to return. Requests about hosting logs can be raised with us and, where relevant, the hosting provider.
